Organic Standards apply to Simple Food Processing such as:

Cleaning
Peeling, chopping and slicing
Packing and repacking (for instance box schemes)
Blending where the nature of the food is not changed eg muesli
Situations where the nature of the food is not changed eg flour milling or butchery cutting‍

Simple food processors can be on-farm premises or dedicated units. It is not always apparent whether food processing is Simple or more complex.
