SOPA Lunchtime Learning

SOPA launch a series of Organic Conversion webinars to help new converters on their journey

SOPA are launching a series of 3 lunchtime learning webinars designed for farmers who are looking to convert to organic farming. Farmers will gain a working knowledge of the SOPA Organic Standards and will better understand the paperwork and record-keeping that is required on organic farms. Our organic farming experts will explain and translate how the Organic Standards are implemented into the day to day management of the farm enterprises.

Session 1 will look at the over farm plan and key dates.

Session 2 will look at converting livestock to organic management.

Session 3 will look at converting crops and grassland.

These webinars are highly recommended for all farmers looking to start conversion, so if you have been awarded an AECS contract you will find these sessions essential for your conversion planning.

Webinar dates are 10th, 17th and 24th March, each session running from 12.30pm-13.30pm.
