Organic AECS funding deadline 31st July 2026

Don't delay on claiming your AECS funding.

With the deadline for Organic AECS funding falling on 31st July 2026, our staff are seeing quite a few applications for organic funding coming through.  We are answering questions on how to apply and the useful tips and tricks that can help the process for applying.

The general feedback is that applying for AECS can be daunting, but as we have helped hundreds of farmers convert to organic farming, we know how to negotiate the application process. If you are feeling in the dark about what you need to do, then give us a call and we can talk you through the important steps.

We are also helping farmers understand what it means to be organic and the changes to farm management that are integral to the Organic Standards.  Managing clover leys, mixed cropping rotations and livestock are all big conversations.  Many farmers don’t need to make big changes, and each conversation we have is about the individual farm and what is produced, then what it could look like when farming organically. SOPA’s Organic Standards are tailored to Scottish agriculture and with our decades of hands-on experience we can give expert advice on how to convert.

Call us now and we can help you understand what it means to be an organic farmer and how to apply for funding.
