If Nature could talk

Organic September is a month-long campaign which aims to raise awareness of organic products, and the brands, producers and farmers who bring them to us in the UK.

This year’s tagline ‘If Nature could talk, it would ask us to choose organic’ has been created to increase people's awareness of organic methods' benefits to nature. As organic growers and food producers in Scotland we work alongside nature, recognising the importance of our natural ecosystems to support the planet's fragile state.

The Organic Trade Board has created a fantastic free Organic September digital toolkit to help spread the word – from social media templates and videos to posters and print ready point-of-sale materials, getting involved could not be easier.

We know that our organic farms in Scotland are home to wildlife, including wild bees. Organic farmland stores more carbon and can help to slow down climate change. Now is the time to pass this message on to customers and consumers and get involved in Organic September. Update your social media, websites, and messaging to include #OrganicSeptember.

Join us in celebrating your hard work and dedication to organic farming which is better for wildlife, soil, and farm animals. Do not miss the chance to market your produce as part of a nation-wide campaign that draws together organic businesses from a wide range of sectors, including food, beverages, health, and beauty, to highlight what these companies are doing.

Finally, sign and share OTB’s Change.org Petition – on behalf of the UK Organic Industry and Nature.  OTB is requesting that in their first 100 days of government, the new Prime Minister commits to protecting nature in any policies
