As the host farm for the Rock On Soils project, this is a fascinating insight from Alex Brewster into the soil health and the understanding between pasture and food production.
Alex says: “The future of farming tomorrow is this absolute linkage between the total nutrients systems. The total nutrient of soils, the total nutrient of pasture, the total nutrient density of red meats getting produced from these pastures and then how these red meats feed back into the food chain. It’s a really strong, positive and beneficial story, how we, going forward create this natural linkage and understanding of what food production really should be.”
