AIS is a capital grant scheme designed to help agritourismbusinesses in Scotland to be financially sustainable, profitable, and resilientbusinesses that will play a key role in sustaining the future of Scottishagriculture.
The scheme offers funding to ensure agritourism businesses haveaccess to capital support to allow them to carry out capital investment(s) thatwill help deliver this.
AIS support can only be used for on-farm agritourism capitalinvestments that will deliver the scheme’s objectives, and applications thatdeliver against more objectives are likely to be looked on more favourably.
This is a competitive scheme with a maximum support rate of 40% of a maximum level of capital investment of £50,000 (with 3 years of financial projections), with retention of the capital investment of at least 6 months from offer date.
